Fun Fact – One:
Ever wonder how’s the name of “nomVnom” started?
The boss, Dr Ng Wai Lek, wants to pursue his dream of having a Vegan cafe that mainly selling Burgers. At that moment, he saw the initial small letter “M” of Mcdonald which is famous and does not have an obvious name that related to food.
He used initial letter “V” to represent as “Vegan” and place it between the letter “m” which become “nVn”. During that period, people tend to use “nom nom” to represent “eating”.
That’s how “nomVnom” come about!
It’s interesting man!

Fun Fact – Two:

Review

nomVnom flagship outlet was at the Golden Shoes Building where they took over the premise that was vacated by Vegan Burg. I had previously tried a few of their burgers such as Kimchi and nomVnom but it did not attract me due to the small portion of high pricing. An innovative idea to have fusion burger in the market but the limited selection and high pricing just won’t attract the crowd.

(Taken on 30th March 2015)

But things started improving! Shifted to their present location at Clark Quay Central, they revamped and improvised their burgers and sides. Having tried a few burgers, some of them left me a deep impression like the A-lamak Burger which is the Vegetarian Nasi Lemak in the burger form.

A-lamak burger has a slightly spicy taste on the first bite which will make you feel “OH?”. If you look closer, you able to see the peanut, sambal chilli and etc that are found in a plate of nasi lemak. The patty is well marinated and the sides really compliment it well.

Dhall Fusion burger is one of the few burgers that have more haters to lovers! It is simply just unique in its taste which might not suit majority preference. I had given a try as I did promise a friend to give it a try as it is her favourite nomvnom burger till now! It has a stronger Indian curry flavour! Dhal curry is made up mainly of lentils, tomatoes, chillies, and spices.

Lion mane burger is one of the latest burgers created by the boss! Main ingredients are the truffle mayo and monkey head mushroom which gives the excitement of joy in eating it! It replaced QQ Cheesy on the month of releasing as the 1st Top selling burger!

Truffle lovers behold! Their Truffled Mushroom Pasta is something that oozes the heavenly feels of truffles! We can’t seem to have enough of the truffle as it is really addictive!

Below are some dishes that we had ordered during the trip, nomVnom has come a long way and has always continued to improvise their food and services for their customers.
